Employees may enroll immediately upon employment. The employee deferral limit follows IRS annual guidelines for those employees aged 50 and over. This contribution level is set by the IRS. Presently the company will match 75% of the first 6% of pay the employee contributes to the Plan through salary deferral! We have chosen VOYA to administer our company’s 401(K) plans and our employees have been extremely pleased with the wide and diverse range of investment choices for their retirement plans.
When it comes to planning for your future, it pays to save through the HMRTECH Savings Plan. The Plan offers employees an outstanding combination of savings advantages. If you choose to enroll, you‘ll find it‘s easy to save through automatic payroll deductions. Contribution options are pre-tax or Roth. And, as your needs change, the Savings Plan makes it easy to change your contribution amount and your investment options.

- Immediate participation – Eligible employees can enroll immediately upon employment.
- Flexible contributions – You may contribute up to IRS regulated limits on a pre-tax and/or after-tax basis.

Varying levels of cost and coverage among the medical plan options allow you to select the option that is right for you and your family. You can choose medical coverage under one of the following:
- Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan options
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan options, if available in your geographic area
- Consumer-driven health program (HSA)
An added benefit of HMRTECH’s health plan is that it becomes effective on the first of the month following your date of employment. Premiums will be deducted directly from an employee paycheck. In addition, the money is deducted on a pre-tax basis through our Section 125 plan. It’s HMRTECH’s idea of a healthy choice!
Looking for something to smile about? As an employee of HMRTECH you are eligible to be covered under our dental plan. The plan is a PPO through Humana Dental Company. This plan provides employee with the opportunity to go to the dentist of their choice with in-network and out-of-network coverage. As with HMRTECH’s health plan, you will become eligible for coverage effective the first of the month following your date of employment. Premiums for the employee dental insurance will be deducted via payroll on a pre-tax basis through our Section 125 plan. Now that is something to smile about!
Have you been squinting at your computer screen lately? Would you like to get new glasses or contact lenses without breaking the bank? HMRTECH employees have the opportunity to be covered under our vision plan through BlueVision Plus. This is a 100% employer sponsored benefit with no cost to the employees. As with HMRTECH’s health and dental plans eligibility for coverage is the first of the month following your date of employment. VSP also offers discounted laser vision correction surgery. The discount program provides access to a vast network of laser surgery centers at a savings benefit up to 25%.
Are you concerned about coverage should you become disabled for a term less than ninety (90) days in length? We at HMRTECH want to assure that our employees are never without protection. Therefore, we offer our employee short-term disability insurance through The Hartford. Coverage under this policy is at no cost to our employee. Coverage provided to the HMRTECH employee is equal to 60% of weekly earnings to a maximum weekly benefit of $1,000.
Is your security important to you? As an employee of HMRTECH we want you to be able to concentrate on your health rather than how you will pay your bills during times of difficulty. Because of that, we provide our employee with long term disability insurance through The Hartford. Coverage under this policy is at no cost to our employee. Should an employee become unable to work due to disability, long-term disability insurance will take effect after 90 days of disability. Coverage provided to the HMRTECH employee is equal to 60% of the employee monthly salary to a maximum of $5,000 per month benefit.
HMRTECH provides life insurance to its eligible employee through The Hartford. The policy becomes effective the first of the month following thirty (30) days of employment. Coverage under this policy is at no cost to our employee. Coverage consists of group term life insurance in the amount of one times the employee salary up to a maximum of $100,000.00. Additionally, eligible HMRTECH employees are provided Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance in the same amount.
In addition, you can purchase for yourself optional disability, accident, cancer, universal life, term life and medical bridge insurance.
HMRTECH is proud of those who were proud to serve. The HMRTECH Tri-Care Supplemental Reimbursement program will reimburse you for your Tri-Care premiums. You must be enrolled in Tri-Care Prime to participate. This is a small way to say thank you for the service you provided to our country.
HMRTECH offers access to help you when you need it with an employee assistance program through The Hartford. The Hartford provides valuable and exceptional assistance and support programs to help address everyday challenges from workplace stress and relations, to family matters like parenting, education, financial and legal questions, addiction and recovery, and emotional health – providing 24-hour access to professional counselors, including face-to-face visits as needed.
We at HMRTECH understand the need for a little R&R. Whether you want to travel to a new and exciting destination, cruise the seas, drive cross-country, or spend some quiet time at home, we offer our employees 10 vacation days per year. Because we believe that our employees make a vast contribution from the day they start, we provide an immediate accrual of 3.333 hours per full pay period. Employees earn one additional day of vacation during each of the next four years (11days the 2nd year; 12 days the 3rd; 13 days the 4th; and 14 days the 5th). Employees earn 15 days of vacation from the 6th through the 10th years and 20 days of vacation from the 11th year on.
Not feeling well? Unfortunately, it happens to the best of us. With that in mind, HMRTECH provides six (6) days of sick leave a year. As an employee you will accrue 2 hours per full pay period. Sick leave will carry forward to the next calendar year. The maximum accrual is 56 hours.
When you look at the vacation and sick leave and holidays you are beginning your employment with HMRTECH with over a month’s leave and this is something worth noting.
Mark your calendars...HMRTECH offers 11 paid holidays per year! That’s right! You will be able to enjoy New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day as paid holidays. In addition you also receive your birthday off with the approval of an HMRTECH supervisor.

HMRTECH policy is that all employees receive their pay through direct deposit. You may designate up to five accounts for direct deposit.
Do you know someone that you think would make a great addition to HMRTECH’s staff? Are you interested in making some extra money? Presently, HMRTECH offers its employee a referral bonus when the employee refers someone who is hired by the company for greater than six months. The bonus amount is dependent on the type of person hired. Bonus Structure

Each year HMRTECH will set aside a portion of its fringe budget for bonuses in order to recognize superior performance of employees who go beyond their normal responsibilities to produce results that significantly contribute to the success of the Company. Bonuses/awards are a one-time lump sum payment and applicable taxes will be withheld. These additional compensation items are reported on the employee’s W-2 form.
Employee achievements and contributions are acknowledged through various Company-sponsored recognition programs, such as Performance/Merit Bonus Awards and Employee of the Quarter Award. Bonuses are distributed equitably in proportion to each participant’s contribution. Every contribution by our staff adds to the effectiveness of our whole enterprise and must be actively encouraged and rewarded.

The intent of key employee incentive awards is to reward those employees, who are most responsible for significant Company revenues, stability and growth, as well as persons deemed critical to the growth and success of HMRTECH.

The Medical Flexible Spending Accounts allows employees to contribute up to IRS limits per plan year for reimbursement of qualified non-covered medical expenses. The Dependent Flexible Spending Accounts allows employees to contribute up to IRS limits for reimbursement of qualified dependent care expenses. In addition to all of that, new employees hired during the plan year may enroll immediately! Make your medical, dental and dependent care costs work for you!

Colonial Life Insurance also offers cancer, accident, disability and a medical bridge policy to help you with the HSA high deductibles and out of pocket expenses. This additional insurance offers your family the additional protection it needs at affordable group rates and is a portable benefit you can carry with you.
